Thank You, Thank You, Thank You

HAPPY NEW YEAR

IMG_2811

As 2012 slowly runs through its final hours I take a pause to look back at an extraordinary year.

First and foremost I would like to thank the wonderful community that is found in Food Bloggers Los Angeles.  In particular, Dorothy Reinhold of Shockingly Delicious who is the consummate blogger, networker and mighty fine cook.  She provides inspiration, encouragement and a much needed kick in the butt to me.  Erika Kerekes of In Erika’s Kitchen is a fountain of information, truffle maniac and blogger extraordinaire.  Together these two woman manage to maintain FBLA as a supportive and informative resource, a task akin to herding cats or nailing jello to the wall.

Some of my favorite sites and people that I have been introduced to throughout the year are:

Andrew Wilder of Eating Rules

Tina Ferris of The Unprocess

Cathy Arkle of She Paused for Thought

Kim Burnell of Rustic Garden Bistro

Natalie Wiser-Orozco of The Devil Wears Parsley

And thank you to all who have stopped by.  You’ve made these posts the most popular.

Lamb Skewers with Lima Been Puree  IMG_2975

Brussels Sprouts  IMG_2082

2013 is filled with travel to Italy.  A new look for the site as well as a new focus.  Please stay tuned.

Thanks so much for a wonderful year.  Nahid and Judy

    Judy!
You are so sweet to say such nice things about me! I loved getting to know you better this year, enjoyed the heck out of the dinner you cooked for your underground party and savored all your potluck food at FBLA meetings. Here’s to a delicious 2013 for all of us!

Hi Judy and Nahid! It has been such a pleasure getting to know you this past year. Judy – It’s always lovely to see you at “the monthly gatherings;” I’m always excited to see what you come up with next. We still need to plan a 2013 backyard supper, yes?! 🙂
