Underground Supper Club to Benefit LFLA’s Young Literati

On May 20, 2012, Two Broads Abroad will dedicate a dinner to raising awareness for the work of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles Los Angeles – and, in particular, the Library Foundation’s Young Literati.

Public libraries are among the most important institutions in American society.  Via the Central Library and 72 neighborhood branches, our public library makes the whole history of human thought and creativity freely accessible to each and every Angeleno. The Library Foundation supports and enriches our public library’s capabilities, resources, and services.  It accomplishes this through fundraising, advocacy, and innovative programs that benefit our city’s diverse communities and that promote greater awareness of the Library’s valuable resources.

Please go to our eventbrite location to join the supper club. The suggested donation is $50 which includes the eventbrite fee.  It does not include your very generous donation to  the Young Literati which can be made by clicking here.   We suggest and encourage attendees to bring wine or the beverage of your choice.  Water will be on the tables.
